Winter Fashion Wishlist

I don't usually do wish lists but as I am attempting to save money and have been finding myself 'window shopping' a lot I should just share what I've been lusting after and hopefully after pay day I may be able to treat myself to a few things off of it!

Top Five Under Five: Beauty Edition

I love buying beauty products and finding gems that won't break the bank if I ever need to repurchase them! I did do a Top Ten Under Ten a while back now but thought I should do a Top Five Under Five for those times when it's the end of the month and payday is just out of reach but you still want to treat yourself.

The Harry Potter Tag

If you didn't already know Harry Potter is one of my favourite series both for books and films. After seeing The Harry Potter Tag on Georgia's blog I knew I had to feature it on my blog too!

The Travel Tag

I recently discovered the blog Vanilla Drxps and was really intrigued by her The Travel Tag and thought it would be great to do on my blog.

NARS Velvet Shadow Stick in Hollywoodland*

I was recently was very fortunate enough to be sent a couple of products from NARS. I have been a lover of NARS products for quite a while now but haven't really ventured out of what I know and own. However, after this year getting the opportunity to buy the NARS Highlighting Blush in Albatross my love for NARS has definitely grown and so I was very excited when this velvet shadow stick was one of the products that arrived at my door.

Easy on the eyes. Velvet Shadow Stick layers under, glides over. Effortlessly blends and sets the scene with a range of matte to multi-dimensional shades. Twists up on command and draws attention any place, any time. Pair with a powder shadow or wear alone.

The shade I have is Hollywoodland which is described as being a pale gold and is such a versatile shade and perfect for this time of year when I personally opt for more golden-smokey eyes.

I have tried a number of shadow sticks in the past and find they pull or tug on my eyes but the NARS one glides on effortlessly and has an amazing pay off that can be sheered out with your finger or continuously built up to make a gorgeous gold colour.

I pair this with my NARS Pro Perfect Primer and I find it lasts really well on my eyes. I often use the Urban Decay Half Baked eyeshadow to build up the colour and set the shadow stick in place and find its a perfect shade to match and makes my blue eyes POP.

I am seriously impressed with the amazing quality of these and the longevity of a product that is so creamy. I will definitely be looking into the different shades that are available in this range as well.

The NARS Velvet Shadow Sticks retail for £20 and are available from most retailers (which now includes FeelUnique).

I am really into using easy, fuss free products at the minute and this is definitely one of them!
Have you tried these yet, if you have what are your thoughts on them?

What I'm Watching #2

My last What I'm Watching post was really popular so I thought I should share once again What I've Been Watching. I haven't really been watching a lot of new TV shows at the moment because I have quite a lot of work at the minute but there a few continued favourites.

My Go To Autumn Base

This post may be slightly too late as with the weather we've been having in England has definitely been screaming out Winter weather. But it's only the first week in November so this should still be relevant. I did a My Go To Summer Base post and thought I should share what I've been opting to put on my face now it's gotten colder.

25 Lifestyle Blog Post Ideas

My last Blog Post Ideas post (you can read it here) was really popular and I thought to go alongside the Beauty edition I did I should throw a lifestyle one in the mix too! Hopefully this help those of any of you going through a lull in terms of post ideas or just want to add to the posts you already have banked for a rainy day.

Being a Student Beauty Junkie

Hello. My name is Paige and I have a problem with beauty products.
If you're an avid reader of my blog you will know that I love all things beauty but also that I am a university student. Of course those things don't always go hand in hand. Living as a university student is hard enough with a student budget but being a beauty junkie makes it a little more difficult. However, I always love getting a bargain, especially where beauty products are involved! I thought I'd share some easy ways to help some of you save money on beauty products, whether you are a student on a student budget, or someone who is attempting to rein in their spending or even for those who are trying to save before Christmas.
